After a nine-year absence, Linda Peroff returned to Cohen-Esrey in 2009 to launch Cohen-Esrey Special Assets Group, LLC which provides financial institutions a single point of contact for cost effective and efficient resolution of their owned real estate. After much investigation, Linda identified Cohen-Esrey as the only local real estate firm with the scope of services, depth of experience and in-house technological capability sufficient to support the unique special assets platform she proposed.
Peroff first joined Cohen-Esrey in 1982 and managed the 10-person Investment Properties Division until 1990. She then accepted a position with the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) as REO Coordinator for the Central Region, where she oversaw five branch offices handling the disposition of real estate assets in 23 states. During this time she was honored with the RTC’s Special Achievement Award. Peroff returned to Cohen-Esrey in 1993 and remained until 2000 when she joined Colliers Turley Martin Tucker to establish their apartment brokerage department.
Peroff has a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a M.S. degree from the University of New Mexico. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a past President of the Kansas City chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), a past President of the Kansas City CCIM chapter, and a past member of the board of directors for the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors. Peroff has received many sales awards including Commercial Realtor of the Year from the Metropolitan Kansas City Board of Realtors and the Distinguished Sales Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Kansas City.
